Puncak Gunung Kendil is not a mountain peak, but more like a hilltop which located on Menoreh Hills. You can enjoy sunset or sunrise from a high place by climbing up the stairs to the hilltop. Green Menoreh Hills view and cool weather will welcome you after you arrived at the hilltop. If you love camping, this place is also recommended for you. The place is clean and there are some beautiful plants and flowers planted on the side of the road.

Although people may refer Gunung Kendil as a small hill, but never underestimate it. Climbing the stairs is not easy, you need some energy to do so. We suggest you to bring your own mineral water, good cameras, and lightweight bag. Since, the stairs are still not provided with safety equipment, you need to be careful on your steps. Wearing light clothes, hats, and sunblocks are also recommended.
